Ich habe mich sehr gefreut, dass ich auch dieses Mal wieder (wie alle anderen Jahre auch schon :-)) das Kuchenbuffet betreuten durfte - natürlich nicht allein! Wir waren ein super Küchenteam und Kuchen-Team und es hat wirklich sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
Wir hatten um ca. 10.30 angefangen alles vorzubereiten und gegen 19 Uhr haben wir uns auf den Heimweg gemacht. Eigentlich wollte ich mit nur ein Stückchen radeln (wie auch morgens auf dem Hinweg) aber dann hat die frische Luft und Bewegung so gut getan, dass ich doch die ganze Strecke nach Hause geradelt bin. Somit hatte ich dann am Abend insgesamt 20 km auf dem Tacho.
Meine Spendensumme ist im Laufe des Tages auf unfassbar 2.000 Euro - also 1.000 Euro für JEDES Haus - angestiegen. Liebe Spender, ihr seid einfach soooo unglaublich. Natürlich wird jeder Euro "verradelt" und die Spendendaktion ist natürlich weiterhin offen.
Finally, summer party again - after a long Corona break. We celebrated the last summer party in our house in 2019, when we all (fortunately) didn't yet know that it would be the last for a long time. But
the more we enjoyed it yesterday.
I was very happy to be in charge of the cake buffet with other volutneers again this time (like all the other years :-))! We were a super kitchen team and cake team and it was really a lot of fun.
We had started to prepare everything at about 10.30 a.m. and at about 7 p.m. we went home. Actually I only wanted to cycle a little bit (like in the morning on the way there) but then the fresh air and exercise was so nice that I cycled the whole way home. So in the evening I had a total of 20 km on the speedometer.
In the course of the day, my donation total rose to an incredible 2,000 EUR - that is, 1,000 EUR for EACH house. Dear donors, you are just soooo incredible. Of course, every euro is "cycled" and the fundraising campaign is still open.
