Sternfahrt 2024

Ein wunderschönes Sternfahrt Wochenende geht zu Ende - wir hatten wie immer 3 wunderbare Tage.  Dieses Mal ging es nach Leipzig. Nach einer sehr entspannten Zugfahrt, bei der tatsächlich alles geklappt hat, sind wir am frühen Nachmittag in Leipzig angekommen. Wir durften dann das RMH in Leipzig besichtigen und später ging es in die Red Bull Arena zum ersten gemeinsamen Abend.  Im VIP Bereich wurden wir - wie immer bei der Sternfahrt - sehr gut versorgt und natürlich gab es auch die Ehrungen für alle Ehrenamtlichen, die sich bereits 5 oder 10 Jahre bei der Kinderhilfe engagieren. Nach der Rückkehr ins Hotel ging es noch kurz in den Fitnessraum, ein paar km mussten natürlich auch während der Sternfahrt gesammelt werden.  Am zweiten Tag der Sternfahrt gab es wieder viele interessante Workshops aus denen wir wählen konnten. Bei mir war es dieses Mal Upcycling und Yoga. Am Abend war dann Galabend "Ein Sommernachtsmärchen angesagt". Die Band "The Cool Cats"  hat uns super unterhalten und natürlich gab es tolles Essen und später noch die Ehrungen der Ehrenamtlichen.  15 Jahre Ehrenamt - 4 Ehrenamtliche aus unserem Kochteam wurden bei Galaabend (mit vielen anderen EA, die sich ebenfalls seit 15, 20 oder sogar 25 Jahren engagieren).  Nach dem Essen und dem "offiziellen Teil" ging es auf die Tanzfläche im Foyer, der DJ war dieses Jahr richtig, richtig gut und wir haben bis um 3 Uhr morgens getanzt. Dementsprechend müde waren wir auch am Sonntag :-).  Bevor es für alle wieder zurück nach Hause ging gab es noch einen sehr interessanten Vortrag von  Mario Rüdiger und anschließend viele Infos und einen Rückblick auf das letzte Jahr der Kinderhilfe Stiftung.

A wonderful „Sternfahrt“/rally weekend is coming to an end - as always, we had 3 wonderful days.

This time we travelled to Leipzig. After a very relaxed train journey, during which everything actually worked out, we arrived in Leipzig early in the afternoon. We were then allowed to visit the RMH in Leipzig and later went to the Red Bull Arena for our first evening together.

As always at the rally, we were very well looked after in the VIP area and of course there were also honours for all volunteers who have been involved with Kinderhilfe for 5 or 10 years. After returning to the hotel, we went to the fitness room for a short workout - of course we also had to cover a few kilometres during the rally.

On the second day of the rally, there were again many interesting workshops to choose from. For me this time it was upcycling and yoga. In the evening there was the gala evening "A summer night fairy tale". The band "The Cool Cats" entertained us and of course there was great food and later the honours for the volunteers.

 

15 years of volunteering - 4 volunteers from our cooking team were honoured at the gala evening (along with many other EA volunteers who have also been with us for 15, 20 or even 25 years).

After the meal and the "official part", we went to the dance floor in the foyer, the DJ was really, really good this year and we danced until 4 o'clock in the morning. We were accordingly tired on Sunday :-). 

Before everyone went back home, there was a very interesting talk by Mario Rüdiger followed by lots of information and a review of the last year of the Children's Aid Foundation.
