🚲❤️ Besuch im Ronald McDonald Haus Vogtareuth – und eine ganz besondere Überraschung 🏠🪗

Heute ging es erstmal mit der S-Bahn los. 🚉 Eigentlich wollten wir bis Ebersberg fahren, aber unsere S-Bahn hatte andere Pläne und endete bereits in Grafing. Also: kurz umplanen + spontan ab Grafing Bahnhof mit dem Rad Richtung Vogtareuth! 🚲😅

Die erste Stunde lief richtig gut – hauptsächlich geradeaus und bergab. 😂

Aber auch den Rest der Strecke mit ein paar mehr Höhenmetern haben wir gut geschafft. 💪🚲

Im Ronald McDonald Haus Vogtareuth angekommen, durfte sich mein Besuch aus Berlin erstmal in Ruhe umschauen und das Haus kennenlernen. ❤️🏠

Und dann wurden wir noch mit einem richtig leckeren Mittagsmenü überrascht. 😋

Das hätte schon mehr als gereicht - und wir waren so dankbar für die Zeit von Euch allen! 🤩😍🥹

Aber kurz bevor wir wieder los wollten, kam die Ansage: „Date im Fernsehzimmer!“ 😄

Okay … 🤔😂 Also ab ins Fernsehzimmer – und dort wartete eine Überraschung auf uns, mit der wir nun wirklich überhaupt nicht gerechnet hatten:

🪗❤️ Korbinian hat uns auf seinem Akkordeon ein ganz persönliches Ständchen gespielt! ❤️🪗

Und was soll ich sagen … 🥹 Das hatten wir mal GAR NICHT erwartet 🥹😍!

So eine tolle Idee und so ein besonderer Moment. ❤️

Nach mittlerweile 7 Jahren SOLOCharity Race und vielen wunderschönen Begegnungen und Erlebnissen gehört dieses kleine „Date“ definitiv zu den Momenten, die mir ganz besonders in Erinnerung bleiben werden. 🥰

Danke, Korbinian! 🪗❤️

Das war einfach großartig und hat uns eine riesige Freude gemacht!

Glücklich ging es danach wieder aufs Rad und weiter Richtung Rosenheim. 🚲

Von dort dann mit dem Zug zurück nach München. 🚆 Und kaum zu glauben: Auch heute hatten wir wieder Glück und mit Rädern, Zug & Co. hat soweit alles gut geklappt. 😂🙌

Ein Tag mit ein paar ungeplanten Änderungen, einigen Höhenmetern, leckerem Essen, vielen Radlkilometern – und vor allem mit einer wunderbaren Überraschung, die man nicht planen kann. ❤️

Genau solche Momente machen das Ganze so besonders. 🏠❤️🚲

🚲❤️ A visit to the Ronald McDonald House Vogtareuth – and a very special surprise 🏠🪗

Today started with a trip on the S-Bahn. 🚉 We had actually planned to take it all the way to Ebersberg, but our train had other ideas and terminated in Grafing. 😅 So, a quick change of plans and we spontaneously started cycling from Grafing station towards Vogtareuth! 🚲

The first hour was great – mostly straight and downhill. 😂
But we also managed the rest of the route, including a few more hills, without any problems. 💪🚲

When we arrived at the Ronald McDonald House Vogtareuth, my visitor from Berlin got the chance to look around and get to know the House. ❤️🏠

And then we were surprised with a really delicious lunch. 😋
That alone would have been more than enough – and we were already so grateful for all the time you spent with us! 🤩😍🥹

But just before we were about to leave, we were told:

“You’ve got a date in the TV room!” 😄

Okay… 🤔😂

So off we went to the TV room – where a surprise was waiting that we REALLY hadn’t expected:

🪗❤️ Korbinian played a very special little concert just for us on his accordion! ❤️🪗

And what can I say… 🥹
We did NOT see that coming at all! 🥹😍

Such a wonderful idea and such a special moment. ❤️

After 7 years of the SOLOCharity Race and so many wonderful encounters and experiences along the way, this little “date” is definitely one of those moments that will stay in my heart for a very long time. 🥰

It was absolutely wonderful and made us incredibly happy!

With big smiles on our faces, we got back on our bikes and continued towards Rosenheim. 🚲

From there, we took the train back to Munich. 🚆 And believe it or not: once again we were lucky and everything with our bikes, trains & Co. worked out pretty well. 😂🙌

A day with a few unexpected changes of plan, some hills, delicious food, lots of cycling kilometres – and most of all, a wonderful surprise that you simply can’t plan. ❤️

It’s moments like these that make this whole experience so incredibly special. 🏠❤️🚲
